Always with my head full of sounds and my hands filled with machines, I started playing piano when I was 7. I soon switched to saxophone and tried to be like John Coltrane. But after several years I realized that jazz was also not going to give me what I was looking for. I got disappointed on notes so I jumped into a whole new thing: waves, wires, zeros and ones. I became an engineer.
It was just a matter of time until I got disappointed on the digital world too. And here I am, back and forth, always rediscovering.
In the meanwhile, I have recorded two albums, Órbita and Eclíptica, and have toured in the US, Mexico, Japan, China, Singapur… with my solo set based on a laptop, saxophone, voice, microphones and MIDI controllers. I have also combined music composition for contemporary dance, cinema and theater with sound engineering.
In 2009 I went to Taiwan trying to find a new world or to rediscover mine. Two years later, that brave new world in the horizon changed. Now I live in London.
